We build the stuff on display at major sporting events, trade shows, festivals, and brand experiences, the things people point at, take pictures with, talk about, and remember. Our work brings events to life through ideation, fabrication, craftsmanship, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes finding ways to make it happen. The work can move fast, the details matter, and there’s usually one shot to get it right because the event date doesn’t care how your week is going. How You'll Get To Contribute

Every build is different, turnaround times are tight, there's growing demand for our work, and we always need more carpenters with the skills to keep unusual projects moving. You’ll help turn raw ideas into uniquely finished builds through woodwork, laminating, formica, framing, and low-voltage LED details, so the team can hand over unexpected work that people stop to admire.
 

What You’ll Get To Do

• Build unique one-off event features that don't come with a normal playbook: things like photo moments, branded displays, scenic pieces, trade show features, and custom activations.
• Turn drawings, shop direction, and rough ideas into finished work that compels people to walk up, pose with, photograph, and remember.
• Work through the strange parts of a build when the idea is cool, the deadline is real, and the clean answer is not obvious yet.
• Make custom builds pop cleanly through structure, surfaces, fit, and low-voltage LED details when the job calls for them.
• Keep fast-turnaround shop work moving when each build doesn't look, feel, or go together like the last one.
• Learn new skills across all aspects of building and help newer or less specialized people get better at the kind of work we do as the team keeps growing.

Who You Are

• You’re highly skilled in carpentry, including laminating, formica, framing, and the kind of finished shop work people see up close.
• You’re strong on table saws and woodworking equipment, with the kind of control it takes to turn drawings, shop direction, and rough ideas into finished work with clean non-90° cuts and complex joinery.
• You can handle low-voltage LED work, or you bring enough experience in event builds or similar custom fabrication to pick that piece up quickly.
• You apply knowledge fast enough to keep pace when a project is unusual and the turnaround is tight.
• “Every project is different” sounds good to you because you’d rather figure out the next weird build than repeat the same one over and over.
• Lift 50 lbs? No problem. You’re built for hands-on shop work.

Even Better, But Not Required

• You’ve built for scenic, trade show, theatrical, museum, exhibit, or event fabrication work before.
• You have laminate finishing, custom millwork, or CNC experience.
• You can weld or solder.

(Typical?) Schedule: We’ll be honest, these are often wild builds with fast turnaround times, so the hours vary too much to list cleanly. The schedule follows the events, not a neat template. The upside is overtime pay when the work calls for it, inflated pay on travel jobs, and the kind of energy that comes from building cool stuff together under a deadline.

What’s In It For You

Pay and future-you money

• Inflated pay on travel jobs
• 401(k) with a 100% match up to 1%, then a 50% match for the next 5%, after a 90-day waiting period

Time to recharge

• 10 vacation days for salaried employees, 80 hours total, plus 4 additional hours for every year of employment
• Accrued personal days for salaried employees, up to 40 hours
• Sick time for full-time hourly and salary employees: 5 days per year

Health, teeth, and eyeballs

• Health insurance through United Health Care, with Redmax covering up to 50% of the premium for the base plan. Coverage starts the first of the month after 30 days of employment. If you choose a more expensive plan, you pay the difference in premium
• Dental insurance, available at the employee’s expense
